STAGE 1 AUTOMOTIVE is no newcomer to the world of high performance. We have been building, racing, and repairing racecars for almost 20 years and have been at our shop on Route 23 North in Pompton Plains for the past eight years. We’re centrally located and very accessible from Routes 46, 80, and 287.

Stage 1 takes great pride in the craftsmanship of our employees. We are ASE certified master technicians and certified in TIG/MIG welding. We are very experienced at installing rollbars and rollcages and are very knowledgeable in performance tuning to get the most out of your motor.

Winning races on the strip or out on the street doesn’t just depend on pure horsepower and we are very experienced in suspension work. From KYB shocks and struts to full-floater drag racing rear suspension systems. We’ve worked on it all!!

Remember, we’re not just behind-the-scenes guys working on racecars, we’re out there at the strip as often as we can with our own machines!

In addition to classic Detroit Iron, we also run diagnostic checks and perform all repairs on modern computer-controlled cars.
